We use a workshop in Jaipur to source and make some of our recycled metal and glass components and ensure the ladies working there are paid fairly for their products and work.

Gold fill, a layer of gold bonded to a base metal, is gaining popularity as a sustainable alternative to traditional gold-plated jewelry. Unlike gold-plating, which involves a thinner layer of gold and may wear off over time, gold fill offers durability and longevity. This not only extends the lifespan of the jewelry but also minimizes the need for frequent replacements, contributing to a more sustainable approach. We make our gold pieces using 14 and 18k gold fill. It doesn’t last a lifetime like solid gold but it does give more use and longer life than traditional plated gold.
